The number in the upper left hand corner is the number of strikes in the last minute prior to the maps creation.

This service may not always be running. The date and time is stamped into the lower right hand corner.

Go look at it now. Don't argue, just go look!

If the date/time isn't anywhere near what the date/time is now... then the service isn't running. Don't bitch about it, just accept it!
